Congratulations to Webster Thomas High School Class of 2021 graduate Brian! Brian and his dad came into the studio for their consultation meeting, and I knew at once that this was going to be a nice, relaxed session because that's how Brian is. He and his dad chose the Classic Indoor Studio Session. Hayes Photography is often known for location senior portraits, but I will often get requests for studio sessions and, of course, I offer headshot and portfolio photography as well.

Dad definitely wanted the traditional coat and tie shots, but Brian brought some of his other side during our time together. He loves his basketball (he's a Titan on the court), pizza, Call of Duty, his guitar and rock and roll. Did anyone mention Bruce Springsteen? Brian is a huge fan having attended multiple concerts over the years. In fact, he had a favorite shot that was taken of Bruce in the 70's that was inspiration for his session.

I want to thank Brian and his dad for putting their faith in me and choosing Hayes Photography for Brian's senior pictures. All the best for your future Brian!!!

I was really pleased to get an email from one of my former high school senior portrait clients, Jordan, looking to have head shots updated so that he could audition for some summer acting programs.  Naturally, I said yes and we set a date for him to come by the studio.  It got me to thinking about his senior portrait session from 2011, how much fun it was, and how we almost got arrested.  Well, not really, but pretty close.  Shooting under the Broad St. Bridge in the city with graffitti all around was something I'd always wanted to do and Jordan was the kind of guy who was ready for anything.  Shooting his head shot today, gave me a chance to catch up on his college life (UB), how much he's ready to go back to school (long winter break) and how he'd like to be the next Willem Dafoe, ultra villian.  Knowing Jordan, having seen him perform on stage and seeing how passionate he can be about something; music, acting, whatever, I'm sure he'll do well with whatever he chooses to do.
